Today was an exciting day at school! We had our first science experiment of the year. Our teacher, Mr. Chen, showed us how to make a simple volcano using baking soda and vinegar. It was so much fun watching the "lava" erupt from the top. I learned that when baking soda mixes with vinegar, it creates a chemical reaction that produces carbon dioxide gas. This made me curious about other reactions in nature. I can’t wait for our next class!

After school today, I went to the park with my friends. The weather was perfect—sunny but not too hot. We played soccer for hours and laughed a lot. Later, we decided to have a little picnic under a big tree. We shared snacks like chips, cookies, and fruit. One of my friends even brought a guitar and played some songs while we sang along. It felt great to relax outside after a busy week.

I stayed home today because I wasn’t feeling well. My mom made me chicken soup, which always makes me feel better. While resting, I read a few chapters of my favorite book. It’s about a boy who goes on adventures in different countries. I love reading stories like this because they help me imagine what life might be like in faraway places. Hopefully, I’ll be back at school tomorrow.

School was amazing today! In English class, we started learning about Shakespeare. Our teacher explained that he is one of the greatest writers in history. We read part of Romeo and Juliet together. At first, the old-fashioned language seemed difficult, but as we discussed it, I began to understand the emotions behind the words. It’s fascinating how people’s feelings haven’t changed over time.

The weekend is finally here! Today, my family went to the zoo. There were so many animals to see—lions, tigers, giraffes, and even penguins! Watching the penguins waddle around was hilarious. They looked so silly yet graceful at the same time. My dad took lots of pictures, and we bought ice cream cones afterward. It was a wonderful way to end the week.
These diary entries capture moments of joy, curiosity, and relaxation. Writing about daily experiences helps me remember them clearly and share them with others. I hope you enjoy reading these short stories as much as I enjoyed living them!
