Monday, September 6th
Today was the first day of school. I woke up early and got ready for my new term. The weather was sunny, and I felt excited to see my friends again. We had an assembly in the morning where our principal welcomed us back and talked about the importance of studying hard.
In English class, we reviewed some basic grammar rules and started a new unit on personal introductions. Our teacher asked us to write a short paragraph about ourselves. I wrote about my hobbies, which include reading books and playing basketball. After class, I practiced my English speaking with a friend.
Lunchtime was fun because I sat with my classmates and shared stories from summer break. In the afternoon, we had a science experiment that was really interesting. We learned how to make a simple volcano using baking soda and vinegar.
Overall, it was a great start to the school year. I'm looking forward to learning more and making this term a successful one.
Goodbye for now!
