【母亲节英语作文小学5年级（作文450字）】Mother's Day is a special day to show love and thanks to our mothers. It is on the second Sunday of May every year. This year, I wanted to do something meaningful for my mom.

On that morning, I got up early and made breakfast. I cooked eggs, toast, and milk. Although it was not very good, my mom smiled and said it was delicious. Then I gave her a card I made by hand. On the card, I wrote: "Thank you, Mom! I love you."

After breakfast, I helped my mom clean the house. I swept the floor, wiped the table, and put away the clothes. She was very happy and said I had grown up.

In the evening, I asked my mom to sit down and told her how much I appreciated her. I said she was the best mom in the world. She hugged me and said she was proud of me.

I think Mother's Day is a good time to show love and care. I hope my mom knows how much I love her every day, not just on Mother's Day.
